Mental Health Anonymous (MHA) was founded by two young women who shared a common haunting thought: Why are there no self-support groups for general mental health concerns? After extensive research and nowhere to turn themselves, MHA was created. MHA is a safe, non-judgmental space for those struggling with mental illness to get the peer support they not only need, but deserve. Mental health battles are not linear. And it takes way more than the right dosage of medication, or that elated feeling after a good therapy session to finally have the upper hand on these life-altering diseases.
This program allows for the healing process to take place towards full recovery, solely because of the support of others suffering from similar issues. No one has to fight these mental battles alone again. MHA will provide knowledge, coping skills and a new way of life for everyone involved. Take the first step and find a MHA meeting near you.
